Logo Design
Logo Development:
The logo design for this brand is centered around a bright and fun feel that draws in the audience upon first glance—furthering the brand’s personality of quirky laughs. The decision to use question marks as the brand’s symbol was made to complement the fun and quirky voice with a challenging and mysterious atmosphere, appealing to the nerdy side of the audience as well.
The logo is offered in two variations; stacked and linear. These can be used interchangeably and are offered to allow for usage in their most appropriate layouts. The symbol and the logo text can also be used independently.
Colour & Font System
The colours chosen are a simple and straightforward Canadian Red, Simply White, and Pure Black, signalling to the audience that this is a “Canadian Edition” remake.
The font system, similar to the colour system, is also straightforward with its use of easily legible sans-serif typefaces Proxima Nova and Arial. These pair nicely with one another nicely as well as remain consistent with the fun feel of the overall brand’s identity.
Promotional Image & Material
The illustrations of the hosts’ faces allows for a more whimsical feel coupled with the more strong and simple typeface, Proxima Nova. The symbol is used in the background as a grid pattern to ensure it remains consistent with the brand’s identity while adding to the fun and bright aesthetic.
